Human impact on the environment

Human impact on the environment (or anthropogenic impact on the environment) includes changes to biophysical environments and biodiversity in ecosystems and natural resources caused directly or indirectly by humans, and includes global warming and environmental degradation Environment and ecological collapse). Adjusting the environment to suit the needs of the community has severe effects that get worse with the continuation of the problem of population growth. Some of the human activities that cause damage (directly or indirectly) to the environment on a global scale include human reproduction, overconsumption, overexploitation, pollution, and deforestation, to name a few. Some problems, including global warming and the loss of biodiversity, put the human race at existential risk, and population growth increases these problems.2- Prof. Dr. Jumma Ali Day

Manifestations of the relationship between population and the environment

The continuous increase in the population is one of the huge problems that the peoples of the world suffer from. The problem of rapid population growth is the reason behind any other problem. This rapid population growth is attributed to any developments in the environment in various industrial, commercial, foods, social, education and other fields. Natural resources are a matter whatever to meet the needs of the growing population; this has posed a challenge and a heavy burden on the environment.

It seems that recently the environment has become face to face with very great danger . Scientists like (Ellen Semble) prepare the environment (as mother of humanity) because it determines his behavior and the characteristics of the human lifestyle in terms of social relations or in terms of the type and quantity of daily food for any society , so whatever we say about environment, we will not deny it its right .

The peoples considered the environment a holy matter , so they tried with all their capabilities and energies to preserve the environment, for example, one of the India’s kings established a nature reserve , about two thousand years ago, and even the Babylonian king (Neb w Khoth Nasr) established the hanging gardens, which were considered as one of the wonders of the world sevenwonders , because he was well aware the importance of the environment and its impact on the human psychology . But it is unfortunate and heartbreaking that the offspring of this mother (the environment) did not grant the environment its rights . On the contrary, efforts are being made to destroy and ecosystem upset , and this is an inevitable result of the negative activities of the human being.

Educational services are one of the important pillars in discovering of the intellectual and smart energies of students, because it is a necessary service in the city, and it creates a conscious and educated generation of the people of the city. Khanaqin is the large district in Diayla Governorate and has given importance to education, where the first elementary school was established in 1887

Khanaqin can be is considered as one of the ancient city in its history and culture. It was characterized by a modest atmosphere and wonderful area for tourism. It is a transit and border city. The city witnessed political and historical events in various fields such as science and knowledge. It was previously known as a little Moscow through the cultural and political level.

The region has witnessed significant population growth after 2003 until its population reached nearly 70,000 people, which created pressure on the urban land uses of the city and the expansion of its area

قام قسم الجغرافية في كلية اللغات والعلوم الانسانية بجامعة كرميان بتاريخ 20/1/2019 بنشاط علمي حيث قدم كل من أ.د. جمعة علي داي سيمينار تحت عنوان الواقع التعليمي في مدينة خانقين و م.م. زينب كريم عبد الله سيمينار تحت عنوان الجغرافية السياحية والساحة البيئية ودورهم في التخطيط لمنطة كرميان. هدف النشط الى اعطاء نبذة مختصرة عن مفهوم المدن الذكية وتوضيح مكوناتها وعناصرها و ما يميزها عن باقي المدن الاخرى . ودور الساحة البيئية في تطوير منطقة كرميان وان تكون عنصرا فاعلا في الخطط المستقبلية الموضوعة للمنطقة، هذا وقد حضر السيد العميد ولفيف من الاساتذة في القسم والاقسام الاخرى في الكلية هذا النشاط.
